Can a venue take booking requests on Aden?
Yes. Each venue has a public request form; incoming requests carry the room and date the artist asked for.
“Bounce it, sleep on it, listen again tomorrow.”
Venues
A venue uses Aden as its booking calendar and its public front door at the same time. You describe the building and its rooms with capacities, take ranked holds and confirmed shows per room, run residencies your organisation owns, and let artists request a date through a public "play here" form that feeds the same calendar.
A venue holds multiple rooms, each with its own capacity and agenda, so a show is booked into a room rather than into a building.
First, second and third holds per room and per night, so competing enquiries on the same date are ordered instead of remembered.
Recurring nights owned by your organisation, with the artists booked into each edition.
Artists and agents request a date from your public page; requests arrive in a pipeline attached to the room and night they asked for.
Day sheets, crew, documents and comments on each confirmed show, shared with the artist team you granted access to.
Your confirmed shows render on a public organisation page and on the discovery map, so the agenda is a by-product of booking.
Link each artist team as Venue. The link closes when the relationship ends.
